MOPTI - DIAFARABÉ       2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT

After an early breakfast  you embark the pinasse and the next few days you can enjoy a very beautiful part of the river Niger  or “le fleuve” as we call it.

A lot is happening on the water: pirogues come and go, often fully loaded with merchandise, motors etc.; fishermen are casting their nets   and along the riverbanks, women are doing the dishes and the laundry, while children are splashing to their hearts content.

In the trees and the shrubs you’ll see numerous birds like

king fishers,   herons, weaver birds, finches etc.

We will stop regularly in small villages like Ngomi, Dakabon, Kouakourou , Ouro Modi, Koa and Diafarabé; you can meet the people, who live there and get to know about the culture. You see the mud brick houses, the beautiful little mosques of banco.

The 2 nights will be spend in tents on the riverbanks and during this trip all meals are included and they will be prepared by the cook. We have picnic-luncheons and dinners on the shores by lamplight.

The 3 nights will be spend in tents on the riverbanks and during this trip all meals are included and they will be prepared by the cook. We have picnic-luncheons and dinners on the shores by lamplight.
